Why coshand exists
Before coshand, buying and selling secondhand cosplay in Malaysia and Singapore meant scrolling through Facebook groups, negotiating in Carousell DMs, or posting in Telegram channels where your listing disappears in days. None of these platforms understand cosplay — they don't know what a 'character' is, they can't search by size or condition, and they definitely don't support convention pickup.
coshand was built to fix this. Every listing is anchored to a Series → Character taxonomy (Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Blue Archive — 77 series and 250+ characters at launch). Buyers search by character name. Sellers tag convention pickup at AFA, Comic Fiesta, SOZO, and EOY. Structured sizing, condition scoring, and mandatory hold-up photos make pre-loved cosplay transactions safer and more transparent.
We're a small, independent team of cosplayers who believe the community deserves better tools. coshand is free to use — 10 listing slots, no monthly fees, zero commission. We make money from optional extra listing slots, not from your sales. We don't process payments (settlement happens off-platform via DuitNow, Touch 'n Go, or cash-at-con) because the wedge is discovery, not transactions.

Character-first, not product-first
Cosplayers think in characters, not product categories. Every listing on coshand is tagged to a specific character from a specific series, so buyers find exactly what they're looking for.
Transparency builds trust
Hold-up photos (username + date handwritten) are mandatory. Seller history is visible on every listing. Phone verification, structured condition scoring, and public Q&A create accountability.
The community is the platform
coshand doesn't trap conversation in-app. Sellers can share their Instagram. Buyers can message anywhere. Convention pickup is a first-class delivery option because MY/SG cosplay culture revolves around events.
Free to use, fair to scale
Everyone gets 10 free listing slots. No monthly fees, no take rate on sales. If you need more than 10 active listings, optional slot packs are available — but you'll never pay to simply exist on the platform.
